M – MILESTONE – MY 200TH POST

200post

Oh yes – The boring, brooding Madrasi hits a double hundred. I am not someone who gives too much importance to numbers but this hundred is special in more ways than one. I recollect the days when I first started blogging “Oh come on you a blogger. You must be kidding me. You can hardly type” – For those who don’t know – I type with a single finger in my left. The rest just go to sleep. I call it my magic finger.

Every hurdle is a learning curve.  I travel even further back. ” How dare you come and ask for admission over here. Do you think you will ever be able to get along with normal children”.  Rough words those. I have learnt to take it in my stride.

It’s not all thorns though – there are roses along the way giving me the push that I need to move forward and I begin with Sakshi @ Between Write and Wrong – Her post is my A.R Rahaman melody. It’s like watching the wizard at work. Every time you hear his song you always know that you can take one tiny bit and make a whole new composition. Her posts give me the same feeling. I have lost count of the number of times I have re- read her posts – I still don’t know what made her invite a novice like me into Project 365 – maybe faith, maybe instinct or maybe design.

It’s a wonderful team – My team filled with magic elves who silently touch lives day in and day out.

For long I have been the whisper in the dark searching for a purpose. Not any more. Finally it’s dawn – I see light ahead. I speak for all those special ones out there. I am THE VOICE for those wounded souls. No I am not a vigilante. I am just a humble soul seeking answers.

From being a nobody to an inspiration it’s been a wonderful journey. Of course I haven’t found my soul mate yet. I do know she’s out there somewhere but I prefer to wait until she decides to show up.

200 is a mere number, Every milestone a stepping stone towards a greater purpose – TO TOUCH LIVES. There are miles to go before I sleep.

Here’s a heartfelt thanks to all those who made it possible and avery happy and prosperous new year too.

PS : This is just the beginning.

  1. Hey Salesh

I applaud your courage, fortitude and talent. Congratulations on achieving this very-important milestone. PS: It’s okay to tout numbers every once in a while 😉 #HUGS

I am glad you are also surrounding yourself with the right people.

Yes, this is just the beginning. Please keep sprinkling your beauty across the world!

BTW, I LOVE that you ended your post with an excerpt from Robert Frost’s “Stopping by Woods” – he IS my favorite poet, so an extra special hug for that! hehe

Lots of love and best wishes
